Digital Stamps and e.Firma / Electronic Signature Key (FIEL) is where you can upload and manage your digital seals and advanced electronic signatures that allow you to use electronic invoicing with your customers.
Digital Seals (CSD)
The Digital Seal Certificate (CSD) is a digital lock generated by the SAT that guarantees the authenticity of the electronic invoice using the information contained within the Digital Fiscal Receipt (CFDI). The digital stamps or CSD are files that are required by the SAT to allow electronic billers like Facturama to issue valid invoices on your behalf.
CSDs are valid for four years and must renewed using your electronic signature.
In your Facturama account, you can upload and manage your CSD information with these steps:
- Click on your avatar in the top right corner
- Then click on Digital Stamps / FIEL.
While managing your Digital Stamps, you can click any of the below options and click on the Save button to finish:
- Select your .cer file - Click to upload your certificate
- Select your .key file - Click to upload your key
- Digital Seals Password - Enter your CSD password
- Download - Click on either .cer or .key to download the uploaded file
- Certificate Number and Validity - Displays your current CSD certificate number and expiration date of the certificate
Download a CSD
To download a copy of your CSD, use the below steps:
- If it’s your first time, download the SAT Portal’s Certifia app and install it, otherwise, launch the SAT Portal’s Certifia application
- n the Certifica app, click on Request for Digital Seal Certificates (CSD)
- Click on Select File and upload your .cer or e.Firma file
- Then click on Next
- Download the Digital Seal Certificate request .sdg file, which includes a new .key file
- Next, add a Branch or Unit Name and enter in a Private Key Password for your CSD file
- Click on Add, and then click on Next
- Once processed, click on Select File and upload your .key file and enter in your Private Key Password
- Then click on Finish
- Next, go to CertiSAT Web (SAT Authentication)
- Upload your e.Firma or CIEC .cer file and .key file, then enter in the Private Key Password and click Send Request
- Click on the Send a request for Digital Seal Certificate option
- Then click on Select File and upload your .sdg file from step 5
- After submitting your application, download your Acknowledgement of Generation and note your Operation Number which can be used to track your request. Click on Follow-up to see details of the certificate. Requests take 24-72 hours before your CSD becomes available to download in CertiSAT Web.
FIEL (e.Firma)
The e.Firma (Electronic Signature Key or FIEL) is a digital certificate that is issued by the SAT. The e.Firma identifies you when communicating with the government, and allows you to access the SAT portal and file your tax reports.
The e.Firma is valid for four years and must be renewed through the SAT portal.

- Click on your avatar in the top right corner
- Then click on Digital Stamps / FIEL.
